DSWIB(Mixmaster II)
The DSWIB (Mixmaster II) is a double mixer seal with integral bearing and concentric face design to reduce the seal’s overall length. The seal is usually offered with the following features:
DSWIB Features:
- Designed for agitators and also mixers
- Fitted with an integral bearing to stabilize shaft and also seal faces
- Ideal for use on mixers with long, overhanging shafts
- Quench and drain ports can provide cooling or heating to maximize seal life in arduous applications
The CSWIB and DSWIB usually offer with the following features:
The integral bearing (pre-installed) designed by aesseal as a steady bearing and may not take the full radial load applied to a mixer
Quench drain & grease connections as standard
Available with flush connection (type ‘C’ only)
No shaft fretting
Balanced seal faces
Non-clogging rotaries
Most suitable for low shaft speeds
Supplied with high tensile, corrosion resistant socket set screws
The Mixmaster II can be ordered in types B, C & D.
Like the Mixmaster I, the Mixmaster II seal manufacture from a fully machined gland, to the customer’s specification.
